More Than a Portrait
As a lifelong artist, I understand that a portrait is more than just a likeness — it's a way to honor a cherished member of your family. My process is slow and deliberate, focusing on the high-realism and fine details that bring your companion's character to life on the page. Each piece is a soulful work of art, created with professional care and dedication.

The Commission Process
01
Inquiry & Photos
Reach out via the contact form with details about your pet and the portrait you have in mind. I'll guide you on what photos work best to capture their spirit.
02
Quote & Deposit
Once we've decided on the portrait, I'll create a mockup and provide a quote. A 50% deposit secures your spot in my commission queue. Please note that a waiting list may apply.
03
Creation
I begin the meticulous hand-drawing process, working slowly and deliberately with professional-grade coloured pencils on archival drafting film.
04
Final Approval & Delivery
Progress photos will be shared throughout. A final image is sent for approval before completion. Once approved, the piece is matted and the remaining balance is due. Pickup is available in Kingston, ON, or delivery can be arranged for an additional fee.
